Bathhouse and Breakfast
In Thailand, where gay saunas and bathhouses are more common than stateside, Babylon remains the very best. Perhaps because it's also a comfy bed and breakfast and thus retains a more comforting atmosphere. A must-stay for travelers looking for more adventurous experience in a clean and safe environment.

      High End? Eh...
Not quite what I expected from all the positive reviews. Weird and complicated admission routine for the pool and restaurant of you're staying in the hotel. Check in and out each time you go from your room to the pool (bathhouse procedure) and full of loud aging Australians crowing about their sexual conquests with the Thai boys. Spent two night here. More than enough. Don't bother.

out of the way but self contained gay resort
They have a variety of rooms from barrack style to suites, to an ancestral Thai house full of Thai antiques and art. The best part is the proximity of the Bathhouse. It really is a gay resort. Outdoor swimming pool, exercise room, several steam rooms, jacuzzi, maze, rooms with lots of hot gay Thai boys. Also available is a barber and professional massage. Events are held on occasion and live music/entertainment provided as well (check ahead to find out a schedule of events)

    • high end gay resort in bangkok
This is the high-end gay resort in Bangkok, a short taxi to the gay Soi Silom. You shouldn’t have to pay more than 100Baht for a taxi ride each way. Facility is clean and gardens are well-manicured. Staff here is friendly, and you will meet fellow travelers from around the world. Complex includes gym, pool, massage area (legit), sauna area (frisky), café for lunch and a restaurant serving dinner. Foam parties on certain Fridays. Poolside cocktails were weak, but they do serve beer and wine. Dinner prices were very reasonable – I usually saved time by eating here before going out each night. No ATM on site, but they can show you where one is located about a block away. You share a bathroom with the barrack rooms (which I heard are “friendly” in the evenings), but you get your own bathroom with the garden suites, which are very nice – concrete floors, wooden panels, small private balcony overlooking the garden, … A garden suite for a long term stay start around $87 USD per night.

      Fun, friendly & safe
The first sauna i ever visited. Although i was nervous, i soon felt at ease as the atmosphere is very laid back and the people friendly. I also found it very clean.
