One of the bigger bars on Soi 4
Big gay bar with an outdoor terrace on Soi 4 - one of Silom's gay bar streets. There must be about 10 gay bars there and a couple of restaurants. I only sat on the terrace and its cozy there. Good place to look at others. The crowd is mainly older guys, their young Asian boys and some ordinary gay tourists. A couple of waiters are very handsome. You can probably try and sqeeuze in your number with a tip and hope they will call you.
Friendly staff
We went to this place in May on the bustling gay street cause it was the busiest with the best looking guys. the drinks were good and it was my ex-bfs Bday so I ordered him a cake. Well, to my surprise, the staff sang to him and the manager comped the dessert for us. I will never forget their kindness. What a wonderful way to make a great impression.
Call on Telephone for a good time
Years ago, Telephone used to have actual phones at each table so you could call exotic strangers and make friends. These days, the telephones are gone, but the friendliness remains. A great place to start the evening before heading out dancing. Be sure to arrive early and grab and outdoor table and watch the gay world pass you by.
Grand pub, great place to start. But, ...
good food, fantastic drinks, and fabulous staff. Telephone supports the local community sponsoring events, and local gay pride. They have been in Bangkok for years, and it was one of the first pubs that I went to when I first visited in 2001, now I have made 8 visits to Bngkok, and Telephone is a friendly face, and calm among the crazy. Always a smile to welcome you there, professional and friendly.
